I wish I had a Poetic or Inspiring note to leave as a first post for the Blog.

But I do not. Instead, I’m afraid this will probably be a ramble.

The worst part is, Its not even my first blog.

This is the 3rd blog I’ve ever started.
The first was one I ran for not even a year before realising it was a lost cause, and Let’s not talk about what happened to the blog I ran for around 9 years, because its a long story, and one I’m still not ready to delve in to quite yet.

My point is, I should by now have an idea of how to start this kind of thing, but honestly? I’m doing what I do with everything in life.

I’m winging it.

Lots of people in my life would laugh at that – I research the ins and outs of a ducks A*** when I get a bee in my bonnet, so saying I wing things is probably laughable to some, however no amount of research ever truly has you ready for life’s unpredictability.

So whilst yes, I love to research, to plan, to have things in place… Mostly I still just wing it.

I guess something I should talk about in this first post aside from who I am, is what I’m going to blog about.

The first part of that sentence- who I am – is easy.

I’m Lana or LJ (although I have a million and one nicknames including but not limited to – Lani, Peppa, LanaLoo, Loo, Cabbage (thats a story in itself), L, Lan, Ratbag, Pebbles, AJ, mummy, and many more. I’m nearly 30, I live in Sussex UK and best of all I’m a mum to RJ.

Hi. Nice to meet you.

What I’m going to blog about is a harder one to answer, because I’m not sure. I know what I’d like to blog about – motherhood, mental health, grief, various topics that others shy away from talking about and I guess just life itself – I haven’t yet decided how much I want to share, and in what way I want to share it.

For a while, I gave up blogging, and I missed it in ways I cannot quite articulate. Writing is a form of therapy to me, and now more than ever I need somewhere to write what I need to express!
